My name is David Wandt, I'm a leader, adventurous, technologist, and an exercise enthusiast. A leader who believes in leading by example, principles, and values.
I believe as a leader you must seek first to understand, then to be understood. Understanding individuals, humanity, and self-awareness are fundamental components of knowledge. To guide us throughout our lifelong voyage we must focus on four essential domains. These domains govern our existence and influence the consequences of our behavior. Principles, Values, Personal Growth, and Ethics.
It’s essential for a leader to listen twice as much as speaking. Grow from the struggles in life, be disciplined, and humble. Focusing on personal growth areas such as mental clarity, physical health and fitness, knowledge of people, and technology. All of these corresponding bits and pieces are indispensable.
My goal is to communicate principles, values, and ethics to my colleagues. A team must be interdependent with other departments. For interdependence to take place. Individuals on a team must accomplish independence. Only then can interdependence be achieved. Planning for tomorrow, today, being early, not on time. Thinking Win-Win and how to synergize with each other. This leads to the successful outcome of the common aspiration that is effectiveness and accomplishment.
